Your time is near my love.  The universe needs to claim back its own. 

I wish I could be with you, I wish I had the right to be at your side.

It has been so long. 

There are few regrets. If you had not to gone to Z'Ha'dum The Shadows would have
come for us all. A simple truth. One worth making sacrifices for. 

I remember you telling me about that other place, that other time, our son. We
were together.  Sometimes I dream that destiny could have been fulfilled.  It is
a selfish wish.  

Call if you have need.

I will weep at your grave.

He crumpled the paper to his chest.  Old before his time. A cough raged through
him. How long ago had that letter been delivered ? Three months, four. Every day
he held on a little longer, every day becoming more painful. December was
leaving and January's new year mocked him.

" John ." 

His last moments, hallucinating.

" I could not stay away." Her musical voice.

" Goodbye Delenn."

He threw his last strength into a kiss. Her lips were warm, living. 

Painlessly he quit the world, becoming dust......
